    Returns: eligibility and costs

Request a change-of-mind return within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unopened and sealed with their protective film intact, unused and in their original condition.

Customer-paid return postage, plus one CAD $25 or $35 return-processing and original-delivery deduction, plus applicable taxes, per authorization from one original order. The category follows the heaviest returned item: below 4 kg or at least 4 kg. Multiple parcels do not multiply it. The deduction cannot exceed the eligible refund or create an additional balance.

Damaged, defective or incorrect items are assessed separately. Contact us so we can review the issue.

    Choose your butcher block

Choose your wood and grain pattern. The edge-grain model offers a larger surface and a lower profile.

    Will it fit your kitchen?

    • Allow space around the block for comfortable preparation.
    • Make sure you can safely lift and turn a block weighing roughly 5–6 kg.
    • Plan a stable storage position with airflow around both faces after moisture exposure.

    Care and use

    • After unwrapping, remove packaging dust dry. Do not wash. Oil clean, completely dry faces and edges before first use.
    • For ordinary dry crumbs on an uncontaminated board, use a dry brush or cloth. Wipe with a barely damp cloth only when needed.
    • For localized stains or odours, gently rub with half a lemon and coarse salt, remove promptly and dry. This does not disinfect.
    • Dry promptly after damp cleaning and let air reach both faces. Never soak or put wood in a dishwasher.
    • Condition clean, fully dry wood when it looks dry, rather than on a fixed schedule. Let oil absorb overnight and remove excess; cream is an optional later finish.
    When washing is necessary

Food residue, grease or contamination requires effective cleaning and appropriate sanitizing. If washing is necessary, use a brief, controlled wash with soap and water on both faces and all edges; never soak or saturate. Towel-dry every side immediately, then provide airflow around both faces. Use a separate board for raw meat, poultry, fish and seafood. Lemon and salt do not replace sanitizing.
